‌Installation Guidelines

  • ‌Pre-Hung Door Assembly‌

    • Align the pre-attached frame with the rough opening (typically 2" wider/taller than the door slab) and secure using shims for leveling.
    • Fasten hinges to the frame with 2.5" screws (included) at 16" intervals .

  • ‌Slab Door Installation‌

    • Mortise hinges 5" from the top/bottom and 7" from the center (standard for 80" doors).
    • Drill latch bore at 34"–36" height (2-1/8" diameter) and striker plate recess.

  • ‌Adjustments & Finishing‌

    • Plane ≤1/8" off the bottom for carpet clearance; seal edges with silicone for moisture-prone areas.
    • Use 3" finish nails for trim, spaced ≤12" apart.
